Look Ahead and Give Back: Charles Tufts Society is setting records during the campaign
The Charles Tufts Society is a distinguished community of alumni and friends who have included Tufts in their will or estate plans. Named after Charles Tufts, whose gift of 20 acres in Medford, Mass., led to the establishment of the university, the society recognizes donors who have looked ahead in their lives and made plans to benefit our students and community in the future.
The Charles Tufts Society is growing at a record pace, placing it well on its way toward meeting the university's goal of adding 700 new commitments by the end of the Beyond Boundaries campaign. Enrollment has almost doubled since the start of the campaign, with almost 1,000 members from all schools.
"When people put a gift in their will, they're saying Tufts is a part of their family, and we're honored," says Rebecca Scott, director of Gift Planning. "Estate gifts are the bedrock of the university's financial future."
With your philanthropic commitment, Tufts will be able to offer more scholarships, enable faculty to combine world-class research with a challenging classroom experience, and provide the most relevant and up-to-date equipment and learning environment.
