Make a Difference

Enhancing TUSDM education and patient care

Your gift can make a difference every day — helping students bridge theory and practice.

The expansion now well under way at One Kneeland Street offers a unique opportunity for donors to support Tufts University School of Dental Medicine during Beyond Boundaries: The Campaign for Tufts. With a $50,000 commitment (payable over 5 years), TUSDM graduates and friends can name one of 71 state-of-the-art operatories in the new postdoctoral clinics. For individual donors or groups of alumni who wish to leave their mark on the school they love, or to honor a distinguished colleague or mentor, naming an operatory has a direct impact on the way students learn and interact with patients on a daily basis.

Your gift will support a key improvement in our new facility and help us provide postdoctoral training and patient care that takes full advantage of the latest developments in advanced dental technology. Located on the 11th and 12th floors, our new operatories will offer ample work space and feature upgrades that enhance efficiency while supporting the well-being of students, faculty, and patients.

Each operatory features:

  • electronically displayed records and radiography,
  • state-of-the-art handpieces,
  • ergonomic design for optimal patient/doctor comfort,
  • highly accessible systems and instrumentation,
  • relaxation-inducing color schemes.

Gifts for our new operatories reach postdoctoral students and faculty in the place where classroom theory meets cutting-edge practice.

Thank you for considering naming an operatory as a way to enhance postdoctoral education and to sustain Tufts' long tradition of providing world-class clinical care. Naming gifts begin at the $50,000 level and are payable over a five-year period.
