The Tufts Parents Program
The Tufts Parents Program serves as a bridge between families and their students at the university. We are your resource at Tufts, often the first line of contact for many parents inquiring about anything from academic issues to health concerns. The Parents Program also raises support from parents to enhance and maintain an academic level of excellence for all Tufts undergraduates.
Parents Fund
Each year, parents contribute over $2 million to support the Parents Fund, part of the Tufts Fund for Arts and Sciences, which provides critical support for priorities such as faculty recruitment and retention, financial aid, development, innovative programs, and enhanced research facilities. Parents also support specific initiatives such as endowment and building projects. Please review the methods and ways to give or call the Parents Program at 617-627-3798 for more information.
Communications
Highlights of campus life are sent via email monthly, as well as important announcements from the Office of the President and other university offices. Please make sure we have your current email address by contacting us at parentsprogram@tufts.edu.
Events
Parents and Family Weekend
Each October, the Parents Program welcomes thousands of parents and friends to campus, providing a wonderful snapshot of the many opportunities available to students. The next Parents and Family Weekend is October 4-6. Please check back for updates. Professor Ayanna Thomas has made her presentation from Parents and Family Weekend on The Fallibility of Memory available.
