As a Friedman student, I have had the opportunity to intern with UNICEF India. Along with two other Tufts students, I evaluated the effectiveness of a UNICEF child survival strategy that aimed to promote optimal child caring practices, improve nutritional status and decrease morbidity and mortality in rural Rajasthan, India. It was a great opportunity to apply what I had learned in the classroom while learning from different cultures.
