While on a second-year rotation at the Henry Foster Hospital for Small Animals, I saw a number of patients (and their worried owners) that had at times traveled more than a hundred miles, just to be seen at Tufts. They came, and will continue to come, because of the phenomenal veterinarians here. The compassion and care provided these patients and their owners make their journey well worth the miles: you can see it in the smiles – and in the wagging tails.
