A celebrated scholar of Renaissance music, Jane Bernstein has won equal acclaim for her work on women in music from a cross-cultural and cross-historical perspective. After 30 years at Tufts, she marvels that despite the University’s tremendous evolution, “the dynamic of the place is still the same: I respect my colleagues not only for their scholarship and expertise, but because they’re so committed to the students.”
